I have purchased a huawei 3G modem e169 7.2 MPS speed, the speed which is got is nominal one which is .2Mbps download speed but i believe it will increase as the speed increases corresponding to your usage ex if you open 1 web page then it would be .1Mbps but if you open 2 web pages at atime it would be .2Mbps. will update further on the speed criteria,
the reason i bought Huwaei instead of BSNL data card which is INR -2500, Huwaei - INR 2900/ for an excess amount of 400, i get an unlocked data card with a good quality modem, the BSNL modem quality is worse, in fact while buying i found many modem failure complaints.
the settings part it is very easy all you have to do is plug and click connect thats all.

ReplyDeleteI am in gujarat and I am not able to run internet from BSNL 3G sim card from huawei e169 modem. Can you please share me the settings? I have mobileconnect software installed on modem for connectivity. I don't have preconfigured profiles set on modem.
